Description

We have been working hard with the guys designing and building this reel to our specs and we are sure the Barra anglers will love this reel.

A beautiful frozen matt grey finish with gunmetal grey and anodized gold highlights, make this reel very pleasing to look at but to also to stand out in the crowd.

The reel features 6 stainless steel ball bearings built into the one-piece die-cast super rigid frame with nylon hybrid side caps.

Super comfortable EVA covered handles on a long powerful handle plate gives the angler lots of jigging strength at the fast 7.1:1 recovery rate.

Infinite anti-reverse system tops off these features.

A special feature of the “V” shaped dual colour anodized spool is its quick exchange system, allowing the angler to be equipped with more than one size of line for different situations.   Your line runs through a titanium coated guide for long life and smooth action.

An adjustable magnetic brake system allows the angler the ultimate control in casting.

A maximum of 8kg of smooth clutch pressure through carbon drag washers will control the strongest fish through a gloss black alloy star drag.

Reel weight less than 300g

Line Capacity 0.30 – 220m, 0.33 – 180m, 0.40 – 120m

  • CNC machined from 6061 grade aluminium to form an ultra-strong frame and side plates
  • Carbon Fibre side panel gives a stark contrast whilst reducing weight
  • Our spool is also CNC formed, as well as the drag lever and the beautifully machined and comfortable handle knob
  • The specially designed super strong handle is also all CNC machined from a solid block of alloy
  • There are 9 stainless steel ball bearings built into the reel with a one-way clutch bearing controlled by a smooth lever action.   The drag washers are all carbon washers giving an amazing 30 kgs of drag

Combo: A Stealth 65S Reel on a R65S 3.9 M ( 12’8″ ) Glass 2 piece Rod

Reel Description

A True Game Changer…….

While this reel may look similar to the current 65 vented series drag reel it is very different in a number of areas.

Weight, the Stealth reel is some 300 gms lighter than the current vented drag reel. It is made from the lightest strongest material available in the world. Our current tests to destruction failed on this reel as it is so strong.

The reel runs on a grade 5 Titanium spindle with a CNC machined stainless steel friction tube – again indestructible. Handle screws are also Titanium and attached to a Carbon Fibre CNC machined handle plate, super light and super strong.

The drag wheel is also made from the super strong light material the rest of the reel is made from. This drag wheel compresses a pile of laser cut stainless steel clutch washers interleaved with Carbontex washers to give ultra-smooth and powerful drag action.

Drag pressure comparable to the usual 65 series if not better but with a smoother action.

Match this reel with a lightweight surf rod probably 3.6 m+ ( 12 ft) and you will have the comfort of a powerful light outfit to catch and handle large fish.

Reel Description

This reel hast the TurboCast system as well as a rapid retrieve handle plate.

You can wind up to 30% faster with the smaller handle and have powerful 1:1 action to control a fish with the outer handle.

A large tri-star nut gives excellent drag pressure. No gears, no bearings, no problems.

Casting with the Turbocast System improves your distance by keeping the reel slightly further away from the rod allowing the line to flow more freely. The smooth clutch is a multi-plate design with polished brass plates combined with PTFE coated woven glass washer which can also withstand very high temperatures.

A fish alert switch on the back side of the reel can be engaged when leaving the rod and reel unattended to warn you of a fish taking line. Only available with right hand wind.

This model features the Easy Cast System, the drag reel also has a silent drag and an auto fish alert that sounds when a fish takes line. All major components are injection molded graphite and fiber glass. All metal components are stainless steel or brass. A drag lever on the back of the reel will allow you to disengage the anti-reverse mechanism.
